Auxiliary scholarship

This scholarship aids students majoring in a Health Care Professional field who reside in the hospital service area. Applications are available in February and the deadline for submittal of the completed application including current references, transcripts, and proof of acceptance into a Health Care Professional program is in early April. Applicants are evaluated based on attitude and desire toward education, leadership, citizenship, personality, and financial need. The number of scholarships awarded is dependent upon the number and qualifications of the applicants and all finalists are interviewed at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Applications are to be completed online, and along with an essay, and grade transcript,  as well as teacher recommendations, which may be sent separately. All information must be received by May 15th, 2026.  Interviews will be scheduled for early to mid-May and will be Zoom interviews.
